Genoese sponge cake

Genoese sponge cake





  • Egg - 4 nos
  • sugar -1/2 cup
  • butter - 6 tbsp
  • All purpose flour - 3/4 cup



  1. preheat the oven to 325 F
  2. sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl .Add the margine ,sugar and eggs with the choosen the flavourings, if using.
  3. beat - 22- 3 min
  4. Spoon the mixture into the cake pan and smooth the surface.Bake in the centre of the oven for 30 - 40 min
