MARBLED CHEESE CAKE
- cream cheese - 4 cups
- sugar - 1 cup
- egg - 4
- vanila extract - 1 tsp
- cocoa powder ,dissolved in hot water -1/2 cup
- cookies crushed - 1 cup
- preheat the oven to 350f
- beat the cheese until smooth and creamy .Add the sugar an d beat to incorporate .Beat in the eggs ,one at a time .Do not over mix
- Divide the mixture between two bowls.stir the vanilla into one,then add the chocolate mixture to the other. pour a cupful of the vanilla mixture into the centre of the pan to make an even layer .slowly pour oven a cupful of the batter in circular pattern until both are used up.
- set the pan in a larger baking tray and pour in hot water to come 1 1/2 inches up the sides of the cake pan .Bake until the top of the cake is golden ,about 1 1/2hrs. It will rise during baking but will sink later.Let cool in the pan on a rack
- To turn out ,run a knife around the inside edge.Place a flat plate,bottom -side up ,over the pan and invert onto the plate.
- Sprinkle the crushed cookies evenly over the bottom ,gently place another plate over them,and invert again ,cover and chill for a least 3 hrs or overnight .To serve ,cut slices with sharp knife dipped in hot water.
